Chapter 82

Priscilla enters Indigo’s house and shouts “Indigo, where are you?”

Indigo comes downstairs in sweatpants and a T-shirt and says “Why are you yelling?”

“I tried to call you and you didn’t answer. Where were you?”

“I was in the shower.” Priscilla hugs Indigo. “Ok, what’s going on?”

“You don’t know?”

“Know what?”

“Check your phone.”

Indigo frowns and grabs her phone from the table. Indigo looks through her messages. “Can you please tell me what’s going on?”

“Check your voicemail.”

Indigo puts her phone to her ear. “Why won’t you tell me? It’s freaking me out.” Indigo listens to her voicemail. “Cilla?” Indigo drops her phone and falls to the floor. Priscilla hugs Indigo. “Can you take me?”

“Sure.”

“Now?”

“Do you want to get changed first?” Indigo shakes her head. “Put some shoes on and we’ll go.”

Priscilla stands up and helps Indigo up. Indigo finds some shoes and puts them on. “Do you know what happened?”

“Let’s just go.”

Indigo nods. Priscilla holds Indigo’s hand and they leave the house.
