Chapter 91

Chapter 91

A Chapter by Jemma Packman

Sabrina, Indigo and Ethan sat in Sabrina’s kitchen. Summer walks in wearing an oversized T-shirt and says “Why is everyone up so early.”

Sabrina says “It’s almost eight. You slept in, and from the sounds of it, you needed it.”

Ethan says “Grams said you were playing until real late, so we had to let you sleep. Momma’s going to take me to school.”

Indigo says “And I’m going to pick you up for practice too.”

“You’re still coming to practice, right, Mommy?”

Summer kisses the top of Ethan’s head and says “Wouldn’t miss it, buddy. You ready for school?”

“I’ve got to get my bag and my shoes. Oh, and my uniform.”

Sabrina says “I’ll help you get them. Come on, Ethan.”

Ethan and Sabrina leave the kitchen. Summer says “You ok?”

            Indigo says “Yeah. Why?”

            “You’re quiet.”

            “Just thinking.”

            “About what?”

“How sexy you look right now, and if you’ve got anything on underneath that shirt.”

Summer walks to stand in front of Indigo. “Want to find out?”

Summer leans down and kisses Indigo. Indigo runs her hands up the sides of Summer’s thighs. “You’re naked under there.”

Summer steps back. “Too bad you promised to take Ethan to school.”

“Not fair. I didn’t know you were going to tease me like this this.”

“Neither did I. Kind of just happened.” Indigo laughs. “What are you doing between dropping off and picking up the boy?”

“If I could, you. Unfortunately, I’ve got to swing by the office, meet Priscilla for lunch, then try and find my sports gear. What about you?”

“Not sure. Been a while since I’ve had a day to myself.”

“I would says meet us for lunch, but it’s to discuss your party. Which reminds me, do you still like chocolate cake?”

“Sure. Hey, can you thank Priscilla for me?”

            “What for?”

“Silvain texted, said she did a great job. She even got us more clients.”

“I could give her your number and you could do it.”

“Let me think about that, ok, Cheesecake?”

            “Cheesecake?”

Summer smiles and nods. Ethan runs in and says “You ok, Momma? You look confused.”

            “Does Mommy like cheesecake?”

“Yeah. She says it her favourite thing to eat.”

Indigo blushes. “You ready to go?” Ethan nods. “Say bye to Mommy then.”

Ethan hugs Summer. “See you at practice. Love you, Mommy.”

Summer says “Love you, son. See you later.”

Ethan goes to the door. Indigo says “So, Cheesecake?”

            “Definitely.”

Indigo kisses Summer. “See you soon. Love you, Princess.”

“Love you. Now go before you make my son late for school.” Indigo slaps Summer’s butt and leaves. “Well, that was uncalled for.”
