happily ever after just ends the chapter

yet the story of love still goes on

I want to be as lucky as Celine

With a great guy like Renee to love me

Take away this overflowing cup of lonely

Yet this thing I feel

every time we kiss

every time he gives me a ride in his car

I feel his skin under my fingertips

it was how his lips presses down on me

Its the sound of his voice

Its his crazy chatter

He is my mad hatter

with ginger beard so weird

he says I miss  you so much at the end of each text

His embrace an endless cozy nest

As he whispers in my ears i love my princess

i never had it before this joy

Only came with this one boy

yet i wont wrap myself around his finger

I just want to let this dreamy feeling linger

In the mean time on the full moon

I am the one who wants to love you more

One day when we break free we will unlock this door

I believe its all I can do

I believe God will make this dream come true

I wont give up the search

No matter how it can hurt

Life is beautiful I feel the divine guiding me from above

How lovely is the ending of this poem. A butterfly waiting in the wings for her special love. You mention Celine Dion and her late husband. Theirs was a very special love and she has a fantastic voice. I am a big fan. Thank you for sharing.

I am glad you enjoyed this reading this one Chris. I also a big Celine fan I was lucky enough to see her live twice. I was just really inspired by the song she has so many beautiful songs and yes she was lucky to find a great love with her late husband.
