Answered Prayers

Answered Prayers

A Poem by butterfly

Through him i I rediscover the sleeping beast
The child of the moon
Emerging from the monsoon
in the jungle consumed yet forever free
I am no bird and no net ensnares me
Maybe in this connection we see the rebirth of Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester
We are just another tragic love story
How can we swear forever
sometimes  life dont deal fair
I leave it there
I had to breathe him in like air
I had to let it blow through my hair
as he pulls it hard
and kisses my heart
as he holds me tight in his arms
i surrendered to his charms
maybe its foolish
it is what it is
I realize i just love to love him
Maybe thats what I get out of it
just like maria owens i love when i can
we dont always know why or understand
its all romantic
a spell of magic
in a week of mundane its all the medicine we get to heal the pain
so in a sense I am not ashamed
This is my path to take
filled with broken glass and heartache
yet rainbow prisms and stars beam away
heartbreak wont hold me down
i found the true lesson now
only love can heal us truly without a doubt
it comes from above through the tiniest soul
through the baddest soul
we all hurt
we all deserve
it dont make sense
only God sees the true picture in the end
no matter what we are friends
i wouldnt want anything else
i dont want a diamond ring given out of obligation
i dont want a financial contract to make it harder
i just a want a partner
to love through thick and thin
through the wind I feel that love seeping in
Sometimes it can be pumpkin latte caffeine
or just oxytocin
no matter what label it wears
its love and it sets you free
flows through our veins like answered prayers
