Legendary

the body remembers
with the scars from love’s embers
are you ordinary
or are we legendary
maybe in the eyes of past love lives
when they still come back and say i could never get you off my mind
there isn’t another like you
well then why didn’t you make me your wife
sometimes its just not meant to be true
God says I am a butterfly
forever  free
He won’t let any net trap me
even though He is only in my dreams
he has been replaced
by something definitely not ordinary
HE is legendary
He pulls me through HIS embrace
after all the living on earth makes me black and blue
i am too nice
i am too swept up in this fool’s paradise
God understands
when you feel like dying
when you can’t get over it
when you have surrendered to the rug
He will pull you up with His love
Help you to stand
because
He understands
His love is not ordinary
He replaces with a love legendary
