I believe like me you have fallen to your knees in worship

I believe like me you have traced the stars with your fingernail

You’ve drawn conclusions, I can see it in the sweep of your hair

dark, so dark, like a shade pulled over your soul

I believe like me you’ve found broken windows

work the same as unlocked doors

I believe like me you bitterly enjoy the cut and blood

when you pass on through to something new

I believe like me you write your words as an unformed prayer

I believe like me you are a seeker

I believe like me you see the light as always just behind the clouds

Your thin silk shirt like a vestment lays in preordained folds

leading to the heaviness just above your heart

I believe your taken name is beautiful

I believe you are a seeker, like me

Very, very well rounded poem.
I like the heaviness to this. There is almost a relevation. A compare and contrast with you and them. Then being omnipresent. A sense of being and not being. One is always looking for themselves. Looking. For a way out or for something easy.
