Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by JustWantLove

It's clear, that once so known becomes so lost,
What's now forgotten, once-wanted most.
How could the tables turn just so?
Is it ironic to let go?
Don't know,
But...
All I feel,
My heart's alive,
Even when body's numb,
And dead inside; Just can't let go,
Refusing to wake up from this; Once all so lost
And still not felt, I dream to wake and be alive...
To feel your touch, and breathe your aromatic kiss.
The balance of existence paid in full, and count the cost,
Forgotten...maybe, but deep down inside, I hope,
That magic will become once-more, and...
Once again a fire burns, a
Life springs new,
No longer be a ghost,
Just live anew.
