Waiting for blue skies

Waiting for blue skies

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Another red sun.
Superman is screwed.
At least a bit more mortal.

We will have our golden age of feeling like heroes. Basking in the shower of appreciation and respect. But all good things come to an end. The tree leaves turn orange, dry and they fall. But usually, endings are followed by new beginnings. They say death is the womb of new life. Yes, Superman is human after all. Blue skies will prevail nonetheless.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this poem. The briefness adds power to the words!!
Never stop writing.
