The CircusA Poem by john l smithFunThe Circus Mary worked
at the circus, she was a clown She and the
troupe went from town to town She liked to
meet people, they kept her fed Cause it was
as a vampire, that she’d been bred There she met
John, who seemed a nice guy But then he
had boasted, he was able to fly He said he
was a vampire, all full of fright And he’d do a
‘demo’ the very next night He wore his
black cape with collar turned up His eyes were
shinning a startling bright red His skin was colored
like the walking dead With no undue
ado, cross the tarmac he sped Ka’thunk!! a
definite flight failure type sound At the base
of a tree, a fake vampire mound The excuses
that he was heard to have said Were useless because,
Mary ate him instead © 2018 john l smithReviews
