Narratives of mental isolation (part 6)

Narratives of mental isolation (part 6)

A Poem by junXion
"

Part 6 in the NMI series. Nothing to add here, please enjoy! Sincerely yours, Jules.

"

Separate ways
Few may identify themselves
with words that I create

(Go, just go
please go)

And on a warm afternoon
And on a fine terrace
We sat there with slight grace
And on a warm afternoon
And we were drinking wine
we sat there and I thought

he’s mine

Stop…
hold it
and let go

(Go, just go
please go)

And so…
Am I uncertain
Am I innocent
Am I love
or…
Am I yours?

Well done bit of love's indecision. Good write, Jules

I like this so far. Is there more? I enjoyed the painted picture of drinking on a patio. It adds a carefree nature to your writing.

The narrator wants the person they love let go of their love.

this creates an interesting anonymity, both with the characters and the narrator's thoughts - intriguing

I got the feel of early Gary Numan or Joy Division from this one - it's one that you either click with or not - a marmite write...in my humble opinion Jules.

I'm not a fan of the text formatting here i have to say.
On a positive note, I feel i did click with this.
:)
