So long, FarewellA Poem by Sapphire NaylorA poem I wrote recently. Struggles of everyday lifeIt looks like I've made up my mind. I'm going to hide like I used to. My shell protected me, saved me from that awful thing we call the world now a days. Only they get to see the nothingness that fills me inside. No one wants to see the true me. No one wants the never ending void of black. So here on out, my mask will forever be glued back on. From here on out a smile will always cover this ugly thing I call a face. You will forever know me as the girl that never stops smiling. Say farewell to the girl that you see now, for she will always be an abomination and an outcast. So long true self, farewell. © 2014 Sapphire NaylorAuthor's Note
