Arms

Arms

A Poem by Lauren Emmons
"

I wrote it about you, believe it or not.

"

I’ve spent all of this time

trying to figure out where I belong,

whether it be

somewhere warm

or somewhere safe

or somewhere where

someone loves me.

But I realize that the one and only

place where I belong has

all of those things,

and it’s where I’m

curled up

in your arms

at night.

Ha, that's awesome. The ending wasnt exactly what I expected and I like it more for that. This just feels comfortable. And good! Great work

This is simple, it is beautiful it's not too thick and not to thin. I feel you have a lot of talent! Great write!
