Let's be realistic, marriage is an important relationship that doesn't always go as planned. However, when things are synced, the little things are so important and memorable. 30 years of marriage have taught us both a lot about ourselves, as well as each other.

Wonderful words Kami This is definitely the way to go. Getting married when quite young I did not know what true love meant. Now after fifty five years together I have found out that we have to look at each other with new eyes each new day. Now we re both very much in love with heart and oul, just the way you say. This is such a simple poem and, yet, it says so much. Love goes deeper than just the tangible and aesthetic. It is spiritual. Lovely job framing that.

You put so much emotion into this poem. I think it relates to the simple things in life, how love is something misconstrued but what matters is being seen not just externally. I am not married but have been in a long term relationship. I do get that it's give and take, but a simple act of kindness can mean more than compliment about our bodies. I hope that I can be this loving and supportive in the future when I am married. Beautiful work.
