Friend in War

Friend in War

A Poem by karan kotabagi
"

This is about a friend who has lost his friend in war,he is sitting beside him and expressing his feelings for him in a pretty sad way and he can't believe that he is dead.

"
Still so cold,is his body
Wake him from his nightmare,can you hear me?
With your eyes open You sleep calm and coldly
still cant hear the voice,i know you can't hear me!
Wake up my friend,am lost
with the gift of glory,you have to wake up at any cost;
I can feel your pain,and now its in vain;
With the look of glory,and you sleep,still in the cold rain.
Can i turn it back?
I hate to think,that i can't!
To the victorious time,I still can't believe!
Your precious as ever,but You should have come like this never!
Are you there,Yes,answer me!
In a blink how did this happen?
Winds of glory,still so feary,
In your eyes,I look to my deep heart and it still cries.

Great theme. Nicely worded.
A few typos like "its" in the third line of the second stanza should be "it's", and after a comma, it is advisable to leave a space before the next word.

Great job! Thank you.

a nice composition of feelings of love, lament of a soldier for the dead fellow soldier.

a small rectification in second para, third line 'inavain' shouldn't it be 'in vain'.

best wishes
