The serendipity of love

Love happens when you LEAST expect it.....

You’re sitting in a mood, full of gloom,

You feel like just escaping the room,

You hope you could rip your skull apart,

Find a red shiny switch, marked ‘RESTART’.

 

Just then, suddenly, out of the blue,

You spot a lady, with beauty so true,

Her eyes light a spark, so intense in your heart,

That you ask yourself, “Could this be a new start??”

 

With gathered courage, you go ahead to speak,

But with heart in your throat, only manage a squeak,

She smiles at you, and with a sweet wink,

Asks, “I’m broke. Could you buy me a drink?”

 

As time passes, you get to realize,

This meeting is turning out exceptionally nice,

You drop her home, and drive away,

“Is your heart getting ready to sway??”

 

A few more dates, and you decide,

This woman is perfect, to be your wife,

You go ahead and propose, with a tense face,

She holds your hand and nods in grace,

Making you truly realize,

The moment you met her was the best of your life!

And yeah! I agree with you..Love happens when you least expect it..but guess that's what love is all about!
The flow is quite appealing and has been maintained very well throughout the write. The plot is also very much interesting...Overall a great write! :)
