Up In Smoke

Did you ever look at your life and wondered
What has happened to the days of imagination and dreams?
Fairy Tales that seemed to be the true reality?

Have you ever been the one that
Doesn't know who they are?
Are you still that person?

Between the world of fantasy
And reality,
Do you get a little lost?

I find myself sitting on the line
Boarding dreams and
Concrete ideals.

I see myself gazing longingly
At the lovely fey I've learned to be weary of
And wonder if their fruit is really that dangerous.

I know that I am growing into the fear
That I have come to claim as home
Even though others call it safe.

What do you consider are the boundaries?
