Yuletide Bells Ringing

Yuletide Bells Ringing

A Poem by Kathy Van Kurin
"

For this world and we, all of its inhabitants. I appreciate the opportunity to focus, ponder a Christmas reality for this whole world within the Owl on the moon and emmajoy's Christmas Collaboration.

"

Yuletide Bells Ringing

In tears our planet lifts hands in prayer.  Let us leave treasures at the door of giving.

Health improved, bodies strengthened by pure water from twinkling wells drilled deep.

Gifts of hope can become Wishes granted. Let us be the world’s Yuletide bells ringing.

Someone like me, like you for a new transforming tomorrow- Our world’s souls to keep.

Money spent, love shared, Food sent, shelter given, they can hear Christmas singing.

We wish within night visions of peace our world’s inhabitants dwell in sweet sleep.

Planting seeds of love we give them seeds to plant tomorrow. Healing comes in caring.

Whether we have done service work, missions, tithe or giving of any kind. What a great time to think about our brothers and sisters-our others on this planet and what it means to them when we care and share. Bless you all!

lovely read. giving is so much better than receiving.

I'm reading your piece too late for Christmas, but I suspect your message is still every bit as pertinent. I believe many have been so eager for vaccines to kick in & make life better, this last stretch of isolated drudgery might be what makes people bat-s**t crazy, especially combined with the downer of winter weather. Now, more than ever, we can take a moment to reach out to someone we know doesn't get much interaction from anyone. It only takes a few minutes (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Welcome with roses!
How did a friend overlook such generous writing, Kathy? Forgive me, please, but - perhaps I was meant to add - as you'll well know, that t's not only at Christmas we should share, plant seeds of love and other such kindnesses, BUT throughout each year, throughout life where and when we can.

You write with such gentle love and caring. Thank you (Kathy) .

The greatest gift is giving, not material things but love, knowledge and smiles to loved ones and strangers.
