Time was never on our side

Till the day we rise, till the day we die

Time was never on our side

Till the moon looses light and the sun begins to shine

Time was never on our side

Till the day we first walked, till the day we last sprung

Time was never on our side

When porcelain faces turned to morning sheets

When easy breathes turn to struggled gasp

When today was yesterday and tomorrow never came

Time was never on our side

Live, live, let life be

Before you know it your heart will cease

Then one day you will come to realize

Time was never on our side
