Special Thanks to Barleygirl and Courtney Hough

A Story by Kay/Hayden

Thanks, sistas

Dear Barley, You gave me new prespectives on life. I can't speak for everyone else, but many of your poems have changed my life.  If you think you have gotten better at writing in 50 years, imagine how good you will be at writing when you are 70.  My favorite poem of your's would have to be Cadaver Christmas.  It gives such a universal message. Your writing makes our covid-19 times just a little more bearable. You are making a difference in this world, if not this world then atleast my life.  Love, Kay
Dear Courtney, You showed me I am not alone, even though I'm not ready to write about my experiences on that topic, you write out my emotions for me and they speak to me. You showed me that life will get better and go on. Thank you for that. Love, Kay

Very fitting tribute which is good example of how inspiration works on others. She is a wonderful influence indeed and a bright star.

It's my pleasure & I also consider it my obligation to share with younger writers how I had to leap many obstacles over the years, learning to understand life before I could really learn to write, but the struggles can be transformed into our formula for sharing a killer yarn! I hope you find the cafe a place where you can thrive becuz you will be a delight to have here, watching you grow in your words with your feisty unstoppable spirit (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
