I am Human

Our faults make us perfect.

I am human,

I make mistakes,

I feel sad,

I fall in love,

I feel heartache.

 

I am human,

I cannot do everything,

I do not make the world turn,

I am not the center,

And I never say so.

 

I am human,

I can hear,

The words that you sneer,

Thinking I am oblivious,

When I'm not.

 

I am human,

I am not able to shut out emotions,

But I can wear masks,

I can shut out people,

I do but I don't.

 

I am human,

I make mistakes,

I feel sad,

I fall in love,

I feel heartache,

Thus I am invincible.
