Loves Blessing

Loves Blessing

A Poem by kbwright
"

When put forth her pen in letters gold that breathe An affection sweet to mine eyes, It steeps my heart in memories deepest cell. For her lips fair birth in bliss,

"

When put forth her pen in letters gold that breathe
An affection sweet to mine eyes,
It steeps my heart in memories deepest cell.
For her lips fair birth in bliss,
Her sovereign eyes discourse,
And released the light from every sparkling star,
B
ut heaven did not deny.
There the fires of passion seared my bosom,
But when the naked spirit withdrew disease
And her sunny tresses incline thin, a prey of features pale,
God prevailed to proclaim his children,
in deaths seed, my beloved resides,
Deprived of my every joy, now I live within decay,
But dwell within her holy works of loves blessings.
