A short story about tragedy

Her wispy blond hair blew in the breeze as  she walked barefoot along the shore.  Waves were rising and billowing down while the sun was slowly starting to fall.  It was early June and the water was warm, caressing her feet every time it reached, touching her skirt with a lap of the sea.  It was where she used to come as a child with her mother and sister and Bailey their dog.  Things were simple and pleasant back then when she felt care free and wanted to fly.  But her life was changed forever that summer when she was twelve and her sister was seven.  Sarah was gone in the blink of an eye.  Her little sister, fighting for life.  She couldn’t breath as the water had taken her further away and mother was screaming a cry for help.  When the life guards arrived, it had been too late.  Sarah’s lifeless soul fainted away, closing her eyes to heaven above.  The memory was there so very clear, it brought a tear down the side of her face.  Now as a mother, she knew the pain that pulled her mother down to a darkness she couldn’t escape and took her own life to see Sarah again.  It gave her such heart ache to be left behind with her own little girl so precious at two, she swore she’d never let Mother Earth win.  And as she walked away from the sea, she kissed her necklace with Sara goodbye and threw it into the heartless ocean, never to look back again
