Forever Alone

Forever Alone

A Poem by Bookworm1223

She sat, her hair a golden curtain about her shoulders,
Soft wet tears fell from her cerulean eyes,
Forming crystalline puddles.
She sniffed, a delicate sob.
The voices in her head yelled,
Screamed at her stupidity.
To think someone could love her.
To think she could be loved.
She would die as she was born,
Naked and afraid.
And as the pills sought purchase in her desert throat,
She knew she truly was forever alone.

"She knew she truly was forever alone."
This is one harsh reality which makes a person hopeless as ever.. You portray the emotions in a beautiful way..
