Glass Houses

Glass Houses

A Poem by K.D.Storm
"

When one lives in a glass house full of pain

"

Living in glass house,

My pain on display for the world to see

Nothing to sooth the heartache that lives within me.

I lie to myself,

Make excuses for those who’s joy is tormenting me,

Even when they continue to step on me.

This house is of my own making,

Built on what I have allowed to be,

As I continue to make bad choices that at the time seem sound to me.

Will I ever be able to cover the images,

Be able to move from these prisons made by me,

Or will I continue to live in glass houses,

Where I can only watch as those who I love hurl stones towards me.

It's very good and I love the way you used the glass houses in the end it made the poem tie to a nice finish.
