Ben is a social media sensation. His Facebook is always active. As soon as his fragmented sleep departs he logs on. Life without his android would be a mistake. Ben, the Media Studies graduate, claimed his15 seconds of cyber glory when he won a silly competition. He redefined the priceless Socratic axiom The unexamined life is not worth living with The unconnected person is not worth knowing! Like all hideously narcissistic people, Ben proudly posted a Selfie of himself. He knew he looked good and the ‘Likes’ proved it.

Ben was divorced, friendless and broke.

Boom! Love the rythm and the blues.

Ouch... this one hit too close to home. I am always amazed by intuitive observation, profoundly prosaic. It makes me want to remove my selfie and substitute a dark avatar. I enjoy your oeuvre.

Fun! Very challenging to try and cram anything into 100 words. In those regards, kudos.

You could get an extra word by removing Ben from sentence 5. Start it with just "The media Studies Graduate".

this is very beautifully expressed. Well written with a nice flow and delivery.

THis is really good. I reviewed your story "Punkrock Pensioner," and I liked it, but this is better.
