Untitled unfinished

Untitled unfinished

A Poem by Kaela

I want to feel something

I want to see truth

To know my emotions

Were not lost in my youth

Traded away

Lost or ignored

Unaware of the numbness

They ran toward

I buried them deep

I lost them to spite

The deepest assurance

The darkest of nights

I pushed them down hard

I fought to keep order

Emotions are tough

Like red bricks and mortar

There is a cold jagged truth to this one. It made me uncomfortable as I read. The ability to communicate one's thoughts in such a way is great artistry. *nods*
