I watch you cowering, hoping life will pass you by

I see you shivering, praying God will see you cry

Hoping never, will man find your hiding place

Your mind now pulls, the shadows down your face

The time has come, to let you know that I am here

My cloak surrounds you, to eradicate your fear

If only I, could remove you from your pain

I hope my presence, will stop you going insane

He has found you, I promise this you will not feel

He may hurt you, but I will numb and I will heal

Another day, you survived and followed through

your guardian angel, here to always comfort you

Sadly life, is not chosen from up high

We only watch, and intervene to stop you cry

But don't forget, their sins will not be missed

Your wounded soul, in heaven will be kissed

God's greatest gift to us was free will... like everything there are downfalls like those who use it to hurt other emotionally or physically. So when a loved one passes we must take comfort in that they are above pain now.
