My Ever Lasting Love

My Ever Lasting Love

A Poem by ken burke

Your hair blows with the gentle breeze

making me weak at my knees

your eyes light up like the burning sun

making me realize you are truly my one

you part your lips and give me that beautiful smile

letting you read my soul like a computer file

you lean into my arms letting me hold you tight

letting me know that I wanna hold you all night

I run my fingers down your cheek

making your whole body go weak

I lean in and pull your lips to mine

letting me taste your lips that are sweet like a summer wine

so even though your as beautiful as a sky filled with doves

the only thing I care about is our ever lasting love
