obsession and compulsion

cause and effect or thinking and feeling and behaving

-obsession: a persistent, irresistable, overwhelming thought pattern

-compulsion: an overpowering urge, desire, feeling, which forces one to do or say something.

-the obsession comes, and it is the motive and impulse that starts the compulsion which forces and drives the behavior

- ingrained thoughts, typical acts, and consequential reactions: learned behaviors: good,  bad, indifferent

-the ever-assaulting thought in the mind and the mighty force or urge welled-up in the members of the body (whichever members are beseiged and excited even overly-driven to lust: self, heart, brain, glands, apetitite, sex organs, etc.,). of these two complementary traits of one another, two very conspicuous tenets of our human willpower, that is, our thinking and feelings, functions being absolutely instinctual of our human nature and essentials of our higher faculty of free will. hence are these the very essences which have been given us by God for our survival, our empowerment; also for our spiritual evolvement and improvement. even for our carnal disintegration. our thinking and our feelings, innate and very necessary traits, are meant to form our behavior and behavior patterns:
thus, if my thinking (reasoning) and my affections (urges feelings) are perverted: my thinking being obsessive and my feelings being compulsive, they definitely can and will cause harm; perhaps, as in many cases, resulting in death. And this cause of harm or even death cannot be said to be the result of a mistake or of an accident, but it is because of that which is labeled addiction
