An All-Embracing Love

An All-Embracing Love

A Poem by Tabitha Dings
"

For My Sister on Christmas

"

A blanket

That keeps us warm

Through dark times

And frigid storms

Some hot soup

A steaming bowl

Nourishing

It heats the soul

Gentle words

A loving glance

Now’s the time

We’ll have that chance

Perfect Love

Christ’s first coming.

Sister’s love

So becoming!

I thank God

For your good heart

You’re precious

A God-made art

Through tough times

We fought and yelled

But Sister’s love

Our bond upheld

With God’s Grace

It’s not a chore

Sisters now

And evermore!

I'm normally a rather depressed creature, but I find solace in my son and my writing. Though God has been there through much of my pain, I feel that he gave me my writing for further comfort. I do hop.. more..
