Ribbons

Ribbons

A Poem by Kevin Andros
"

Spinning, Dizziying, Ribbons

"
How many times I tell you to,
Every day I turn to you...

This Barren land,
midnight is close at hand,
Every passing day,
Makes more real death.

How many times I tell you to,
Every day I turn to you...

It's almost a last stand,
Lending the world a hand,
Taking a long way,
Hoping to live another day.

How many times I tell you to,
Every Day I turn to you...

Roadblocks on my way,
To your place,
Takes a whole day,
Wakes a common sense.

How many times I tell you to,
Every day I turn to you...

In the end,
I try to make amends,
but the time is short,
Keeping my feelings in check,

How many times I tell you to,
Every day I turn to you,
Doesn't make sense of what I do,
but Every single day I love you.
