"Out Of Fuel And So Afraid" Khatoon Hazara ||| 8:11pm, Tues. 3/26/19

...

The sounds on the southern end of the line kept rising but when the decibels fainted weakly, the eye trembled; the pulse slowed, the veins slinked away; deep into the shadows of their homes:

You are nothing like me

Melted crayons and triggered Vertigo; my staples- as the blood pounds inside my chest.

My world was yours, a servant of god; the whims bent and broke right off their perch, I never got a chance to meet him, the one they called sorcerer and where was he meant to spend his days? With me? With his mother? The sun played such a dirty trick on the atmosphere, it made it hard to think things through.

The shouting didn't stop, neither did the distance but I tried my best to keep it all together, even though all the parts were breaking off.
