Student of Socrates

Student of Socrates

A Poem by kianatahleigh

Those who hide do so by wearing
the drapes of sophism.
Killing those around them
using simple syllables;
Words sound like honey
drenched in hemlock.
Death to you
          student of
                       Socrates

Author's Note

kianatahleigh
This poem was something I just wrote late one night working in my lab and originally had no punctuation, so I just threw some in there for those who might freak out. It was more of a free verse kind of thing.
