Tragic Love Story

Like a summer breeze,

In a cold winter night;

A spring rain,

In summer’s drought;

 

I never waited,

Nor even asked God;

But here you were,

Melting my frozen heart;

 

Life’s full of irony,

Making you laugh in pain;

I was ready,

Until you came my way;

 

My heart keeps beating,

Maybe because of loving you;

Or it trembles in fear,

Scared of our ill-fated love;

 

I am dying,

Will you still have me?

I am sorry,

For still wishing you’ll be mine;

 

 

I am never scared of death,

Accepted it as my reality;

But now I’m afraid,

Leaving you in pain;

 

My heart’s in fear,

You’re the best part of me;

Now, I am afraid,

To be the worst part of you;

 

 

Romance is too cliché,

To handle this kind of love;

I knew your heart aches for me,

Should we begin our tragic love story?
