Red String

Red String fate,

Destiny’s bait,

To patiently wait,

For one’s fated mate;

A written destiny,

Creating the perfect recipe,

For a harmonious melody,

With outbursting chemistry;

Destiny’s having fun,

A game that we’ll never won,

An end before it begun,

For I’m not the fated one;

Reconstructing my own destiny,

Ceasing world’s irony,

Of love and fate’s tyranny,

Despite the agony;

Severing the thread,

Fate's a choice instead,

Not letting the heart be misled,

By a mere string of red.
