Our Destiny

 

 

As I see clouds of doubt form about in your mind,

I intercept your thoughts and give you a piece of my mind.

Understand that I yearn for your heart with mutuality,

And yet I'm still praying your feelings bring forth a reality.

I know you don't trust such an adolescent love.

I sense your vigilance and I don't hold a grudge.

But, my love, if such a hesitance was felt before I ever present,

My soul and the truth in my heart to you, how would you grasp my essence?  

Love is a two way street with many twist and turns,

The wise choose to grow off the lessons they learn.

With age maturity evolves and wisdom opens eyes,

And with a mind set like mine, I can reach pass the sky.

If you feel these words are lies I’ll give you some time,

I know experiences in the past have realigned your mind.

I know you have a busy life and you heart must heal,

Before the kiss in which you’ll seal, connects the way that I feel,

To the way that you feel, and so our souls can unite,

So we will no longer wander lost yet follow the light.

In due time I feel we will ignite each other,

As if it were a law we were destined to be lovers.

But for now it’s a day-by-day process that strengthens our unification,

And so we wait for God to give us full confirmation,

I understand your declaration to hold on as friends until we see,

But as for me, I’m convinced love will direct our destiny!
