A Story by kishie

To say I was between a rock and a hard place was an understatement,You could say it was like choosing between emeralds and rubies for a girl like me,Here i was, imminent, clad in the finest,my house draped and adorned in ornamentsw of gold and silver,Imelda,my daughter,a grown woman now,or was she an element of trade?or maybe the dove between our wartorn nations?I was a queen, magnificent, elegantand poised faced with the dilemna of shhh....,'selling',marring her off to Lugala's prince or letting her stay home and face war,so I did what was morally right,besides...she added more glamour to my house and her warmth made it a home.My men headed off to war,'Mibala vs Lugala',soon,my headsoldier told me they were retreating,It was too much to bear,They were heading for our lands, encroaching the capital,so I put more men at the palace
