I thought about writing a letter to you

To my love, signed from Baby

Write and apologize for leaving

You said you wanted me to be happy

But I'm not happy anymore

We may have ended eventually

But eventually isn't now

I had so much to tell you

But I couldn't find the strength to…

Sealing that envelope cut my tongue and…

You made me tongue-- tied around your finger to remember

I thought about writing a poem for you

To the Love of My Life

Se-renade you with imagery

Make you see how Be-You-tiful you are to me

Blue eyes-flip-shade-closed then open…

To a new girl

She hasn't stayed up until 2am just to say the words-

I love you

Mirrored your white smile

Lay pools of red lipstick in the dimples on your cheek

Blink twice to clear my eyes your almost divinity makes me blind

Shine light to me with the sound of your voice

Sing quietly to me over the phone

Three country songs off tune but its…

Still kinda cute

I could write a song for you accompanied by chords 

You are my harmony I can be your melody

Sing about the butterflies

The birds and the bees

The major hum that makes minor sounds in my ears

That right there, baby, thats our song

The tune we sing during our awkward silences

Your golden laugh

Contagious like a flu that…

Gives me nervous hiccups when I'm around you…

Are so beautiful

"To me, can't you see?"

Mood music at midnight

I get a little too tired but…

Our late night Skype calls make up for those ugly uniforms, baby

Turn on… something smooth

Pretend you're there

Let my body sing for you

Baby, I could dance for you

I thought about dancing for you

Stripping… away my fears

Revealing my tears

Running circles around you with my hips,  Baby

Show you I care

Make you see my love for you

With this song only meant for your ears

This… body only meant for your eyes

Like blurred lines and curves that create an illusion

You will confuse love for lust, Baby

Bound to you like a negative and positive ion

The rain in spain falls mainly from my eyes if you leave me, Baby

I will dance for you

Well I guess I'm not your baby anymore.

Maybe, I should write a prescription for you

A doctors note saying to excuse you from relationships

You have a mild case of "I suck at love"

Symptoms are unidentifiable scars on the heart

Inability to walk so you crawl back to me

Trouble speaking so you slur your words from "I love you" into "I don't care"

Coughing up chunks of ripped love notes

E-hem e-hem, sorry, I have a bit of a cold-heart

Cough cough you're an idiot cough cough!

...Have a taste of your own medicine, baby

So I didn't write a love note

I didn't recite a poem

I didn't sing you a song

I didn't dance for you

And sadly, their is no drug strong enough to cure heartbreak

But I can do one thing for you

I can tell you that no matter what…

I will still love you
