Moonlight and Melancholy

A sad love letter with a bittersweet handwriting

Moonlight and Melancholy

How does it feel to be a shining rock
That everybody looks up to?
Distinguished from everyone.
So high up that even insults can't reach?

Oh Selene, the space between us is so obscene!
Looking at you tires me because you're my dream.
The light of your face attracts my very sleep.
Then steam goes through my head and knees
and exuberantly gets released onto the sea.

Oh Selene, look what you did to me.

Looking at you gives me life.
So, to observe my own orbital issues is alright.
Rain drips down my cheekbone, oh my
How can I reach you when I need moonlight?

That is when I realized.

When the mist condenses to tears,
And sun eclipses turn into fears,
And the emitting bulb is clear,
There is no one to call dear.

Till the day our worlds collide
I will forever remain a lunatic
