Goodnight

Goodnight

A Poem by Kelly
"

The fun is gone

"

I’m cold

I’m gonna put my clothes back on

I’m cold

I’m gonna put my clothes back on

I’m not built for your pleasure

I need love

You’re not built for my pleasure

You need release

I’m cold

I’m gonna put my clothes back on

You’re tired

You wanna go back to bed

You’re tired

It’s time to go back to bed

Goodnight

Goodnight

okay now this is freaky but this is just as good reading each line in reverse order. intentional or not that is amazing.

oh wow I didn't notice that
Sounds like two people who have lost the passion and are filled with self doubt. Very interesting write up. You repeat the word cold and the words are cold. Good use of double imagery.

Looks like the love is definitely gone in this so-called relationship here. Great job depicting this in your well written poem. Nice work. :)

The repetitiveness of this is what makes me really enjoy this poem. "I'm not built for your pleasure I need love, you were not built for my pleasure" I absolutely adore those lines, fantastic job!
