Don't Question

Don't Question

A Poem by kayla
"

"

Don't question the government

Don't question what's in the meat we eat

Don't question why little girls are getting their 1st period

Don't question why so many people slit their wrists

Don't question why "children's stars" look like w****s

Don't question the epedimic of teen pregnancy

Don't question why 40% of the population are overweight or obese

Don't question why the weather is unpredictable

Don't question why meth is becoming so popular

Don't question why we have to take pills to get through the day

Don't question why the suicide rate is so high

Don't question why some people are "cured" from AIDS and some aren't

Don't question the innuendos in childrens shows

Don't question why your 12 year old daughter has a thong

Don't question why it's so hot outside

Don't question why child prostitutes are of so much value

Don't question if there's a cure for cancer

Don't question why plastic surgery is so popular

Don't question why children are so sexualized

Don't question the economy

Don't question why so many people are unemployed

Don't question why guns are so readily available

Don't question how your kids got drugs

Don't question the world you live in

Full of disdain. I like how you got to highlight the critical issues the world is facing today. I like how you delivered it's irony. Well done!

well done! i'm not really a fan of political poetry but you really pulled it out the bag here, especially with the highlighted words for added effect. clever.

I liked it. I liked that you colored some words in red as to show the critical words, As someone said before, I'm not to big on list poems, but this one was fine. Good Job.

"childrens stars" - Did you mean "children stars" or "children's stars".
"how you're kids got drugs" - your

This is definitely politically driven, as well as socially aware. I'm not partial to list poems but I appreciate what you are going for with this.
