Blame

Blame

A Poem by Poetry Girl

So, yes. I agree.          You can let me

Be     The object        Of blame.

Totally different person, the last lifetime around.

Ive taken your social life,& you've sat and watched it drown.

I didnt mean to do it, I am so serious.

I dont know how it happened, but the case is not mysterious.

As soon as I came around, Iys like all our friends left.

And now I am accused, Of all this painful theft.

Act as if your only options: To be with me or be alone.

You dont talk to them in person, or even barely on the phone.

I dont know what to do about it, I cant help but feel the blame.

You can say you'd rather be with me, But I am the cause of their pain.

So, yes. I agree.          You can let me.

Be     The object        Of blame.
