how far to believe

the world is knowing a new calm

the skies sing a duet

hope is so close together

when i'm with you

it's then i forget

and my life rushes by

must i be the romantic

always knowing goodbye 

i wish i knew a balance of love

strong and freestanding

waiting for a call to be recognized 

and now i know forever 

but i still i feel unsteady

unsure of my steps

close enough to reach for

a happy ending

believing isn't easy for me

this is real, and this will hurt

sometimes you feel so close

look at how many days we've been together

together with a feeling of so far

the night has no faces

and i know not how to react

questions spill out of hidden closets

reach for that place on the level

maybe we're almost believing

don't listen to that dream

who knows what shows
