Voices of the devil

Voices of the devil

A Poem by Komichi
"

Petrarchan: Whisper from the darkness suggesting to end his life to a person who is filled with hatred.

"

For many moons, they've tried to dye your heart black,
instead of fighting back, you may leave your connections behind.
Why will you stay if things are never so kind?
No, it's not a run away, and you need not go back.
Let the unwanted memories swirl up in the pours of cognac,
hence your anger and sorrows shall be declined.
There are no other tools in the world for you to bind,
except for the infatuation of a dark fugue by J.S. Bach.
There would be no need for you to pretend,
no leftovers from this life to anticipate,
and not even a slightest regret for the path you took.
Now is the time in your power to end
this unequal world that you had to participate.
There, the noose is ready for you to hook.

Despite your poem not adhering to the pentameter requirement: five iambic feet, I liked it because it's written with feeling.
