There I stood, confused, waiting for your timing

For you to place Mr. Right in my view

“Let your will be done,” I said

Knowing that only your plan would come through

 

Days, weeks, months, years passed

A good man extremely hard to find

Dedicated my purity to honour you

And in return you blew my mind

 

 

Handsome, patient, loving, was my desire

But above all, you gave me one after your heart

My Prince, could I ask for more?

I’m so grateful for your amazing work of art

 

Almost 14months, continuing on the journey

What God put together, let no man tear apart

We’re hanging on, there’s purpose we know

Marriage, children, who knows, we’ll watch it as it grows J
