Water Onion

Water Onion

A Poem by kristollini
"

Number 3 in my tattoo-poem series!

"

Water onion, growing from my palm
Makes me cry all day long
When I rub my eyes with the heel of my hand,
Or when I simply sit upon the land,
My stomach churns from your spicy knots,
And my face condensates from your sulfurous blots,
My tears might also be from those hot peppers I ate
… But I’d rather blame some fictitious root than my bad diet
