Hope such a intriguing ideal

even in the worst ordeal

it'll bring you back in the fight

with ten times the might

Like the tiniest of embers

in a fire pit left to die

a colour of bright amber

hope can light up the night sky

left their it'll start

a blazing forest fire

or the warmth to mend a heart

and light a pyre

With a roll of a die

this ember will fly

so build it up let it free

show the world what you can be
