A Wise Owl

A Wise Owl

A Poem by kururu

This owl.
The wisest owl of them all.
He eats mice
he gives advice
but only for a price.
You'll have to visit him in the night
and he'll give you insight.
But first you'll have to give him:
two acorns,
three rose thorns,
and two mice.
Get ready to listen,
you'll be there until the leaves start to glisten.
The fog will hang low
and the moon will continue to glow.
Then, in the morning,
the owl will stop babbling
and bid you farewell.
