Slowly Burning

Slowly Burning

A Poem by kurohana

I was once curious of you,

How you felt and taste like.

Seeing as people enjoy having your company,

I decided to try you.

Once became twice and twice became many more.

My curiosity now became addicted of you.

Can no longer let a day passed without you.

When I started to think I should stop,

Every day I make less and less of you

But my body is not having it.

Reaching to a point where I fell down,

I know having you is bad.

My life is burning slowly as I continue to consume you.

My habit that needs to be let go,

Smoking.
