Whispers

Whispers

A Poem by kurohana

Body tired as I lay on the bed,

Alone filled with darkness and silence.

Body tired,

But my mind says otherwise.

These voices that never stops,

Whispering, keeping me awake.

It’s getting louder and louder and louder

I screamed gripping my head.

Tears continue to fall,

My mind is losing it.

Drowning, can no longer breathe,

This feeling, make it stop.

MAKE IT STOP!

the strangeness of our feverish brain is abrupt but properly cultured since childhood. Sometimes we want voices to stop but thoughts have become stronger. Nice writeup.
